Interior Facilities Linen provided / Washing Machine

Interior Details Our houses and apartments are self-contained and each has its own kitchen with a four ring hob, fridge, sink, pots & pans, crockery and cutlery. Each house has its own boiler for hot water and wall mounted gas heaters. There is a washing machine which is available for all guests to use and access to this is from our grassy mountain side terrace. The houses don't have landline telephones (your own mobile/cell phone should work fine), computers, internet access, televisions or radios. All these things, we hope you will agree, are good to get away from now and again! Tulipano sleeps 4-5 people in two double bedrooms. The house is one three floors, with the kitchen and dining room (with balcony) on the ground floor, one bedroom on the first floor (with ensuite wc/basin) and the second bedroom and the shower room/wc on the second floor. The kitchen is small but the dining room is very large.

Exterior Facilities Balcony / BBQ / Terrace

Exterior Details As you walk down the steps of Via Santa Maria our houses are on either side. When you reach the bottom there is a large grassy terrace for guests to relax and a smaller terrace, just above, with a barbeque.

Further Details Baiardo is home to 2 restaurants, a cafe pâtisserie, 3 grocery shops, a bar, a post office and a central church with regular services. If you are driving up to Baiardo, there is parking space in the village centre. It is then a short, steep walk up to the guest house (approximately 5 minutes). You need to be quite fit and well to enjoy staying here. From the village centre to the guest house the paths, although newly cobbled, are steep and narrow. Once you get up to the guest house, the path between the apartments & down to the terraces are very old, uneven and steps are irregular. Within the apartments the stairs are mostly quite steep and in most cases there are no banisters. We offer Italian Language & Culture weeks throughout July. These are open to groups and individuals and run for six days. Please ask if you’d like more information.

What visitors have said about House 5

The accomodation is very comfortable despite being very rustic. The views are breathtaking. The immediate surroundings (terrace, little winding alley ways etc) are absolutely lovely. The village and people in it are very charming. The food in the village restaurants (especially the first on the left as you go down) was absolutely delicious. My son who is ten had no other children for company but was never bored due to the attention he received from everyone around! And he did a lot of reading and drawing and we enjoyed just spending time together as a family. We explored other villages around as well as going to the beach. But still saw less than half of what we thought we would. Ten days was just not long enough!! I am sure I have forgotten to mention a million other things but in short it was the perfect holiday!
