Here in a Mediterranean valley you will find this wonderful organic farm, in an area of Liguria which has been recognised for its environmental awareness. It’s not a hotel, but a country house. Our restaurant isn’t formal, but we will serve you delicious home made and locally sourced meals. There’s not much luxury here, but a lot of comfort. You will arrive on a narrow country road and we will welcome you in, to come and be part of our world. We can show you our organic farming methods and help you forget the stress and smog of life in the city! |

Giandriale is ideal for outdoor sport lovers. There are endless trails which you can take directly from the farm, either by foot or mountain bike. There are splendid views over the Val Di Vara and of the Golf Of Tigullio and interesting flora and fauna abounds. We’re only a short distance from the famous coastal walk of the 5 terre, and the mountain walk, the Alta Via of the Monti Liguri. The Adventure Park Val Di Vara is also part of the farm. A series of trails suspended in the trees offer an unforgettable experience. There are 35 platforms positioned at different heights, open to all ages. We provide all the equipment necessary and a guide to help you. In the nearby village of Tavarone you’ll find an open air swimming pool. In nearby villages you can find horse-riding and go rafting along the river Vara. |

Further Details |
From our kitchen our guests will be offered exclusively organically farmed products, and dishes based on local Ligurian recipes. We use only home grown or locally produced products. We grow our own fruit and vegetables, and produce our own meats, honey and jam. You’ll dine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Some of our specialities include gnocchi made with chestnut flour, ravioli with wild herbs and delicious home made cakes. Our cows and horses roam freely on the land – so you’re more than likely to meet them on your walks! The area around the farm is of great archeological and geological interest. The area has extraordinary sites for those interested in mineralogy. There are old mines used in the prehistoric age and spectacular caves.
There is a very important archeological site in the Valle Lagorara, situated at Maissana.
