Torre Tenosa, located close to the old university town of Camerino, is a 14th-century watchtower, which in medieval times used to belong to the Duchy of Varano chain of towers.
Its renovation was finished in 2004 creating a unique and comfortable holiday home ideally suited for 2 people. The character of the tower from the ground floor to the roof has been maintained using a gallery-style bed and bathroom. The tower is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi Internet access via laptop computer, telephone, Sat-TV and new furniture. Throughout the renovation importance was placed on using environmentally sound building materials and paints. During the colder winter months a modern copper-tubing heating system hidden in the walls maintains a warm and cosy atmosphere. An independent access road to a private car park in front of the tower ensures easy access. |

Camerino has supermarkets, chemists, banks, restaurants, bars and a public swimming pool. Monti Sibillini National Park has hiking, mountain-biking, quad-biking, lake swimming, hang-gliding and paragliding, horse-riding, skiing, rock-climbing, bird- and nature-watching. The beautiful cities of Urbino, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno, Loreto , Assisi , Perugia and Spello. Rome can be visited in a day. Visit local wine and olive oil producers. You can visit the Adriatic coast and its beaches. Or head to the Grotti de Frassasi - huge caves. |

There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, extractor hood, four-ring gas hob and fan-assisted oven. The L-shaped sitting area has a sofa bed and table. and sat TV, Broadband internet access via laptop computer and own telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. There is a spacious bedroom with double bed (cot can also be provided). There is a shower room with basin, separate toilet and small utility room with washing machine. An open plan staircase connects the ground floor with the bedroom and bathroom.

A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay is paid in advance and deducted from the final payment which is due on arrival.
