Nearby Piazza Risorgimento (50 meters) is the end of the line for a wide range of buses and trams, serving the centre of the city. Ideal location, close to the metro, and within easy walking distance of all the attractions. The owner, Alessandra and her husband could not be more helpful or more professional. The apartment itself feels very spacious because of the high ceilings and chic, uncluttered decore. Everything is clean, clean, clean and Alessandra has supplied every ammenitie that you could possibly need for either a short or long term stay. We highly recommend the apartment and the area as a terrific place to stay in the Eternal City. An added plus is the exceptional restaurant Ragno D'Oro, just around the corner and up 1 block. It has everything you would expect but Alessandra has gone that little bit further with many extra touchs. The guide books and maps were very useful as was the laptop so we could check details online and report back home. The location is also ideal. It's close to the Vatican (10 minutes gentle walk) for local walks and close to the Metro and bus routes for sightseeing on the other side of the river. There arealso many goodrestaurants within 5 minutes walk, we recommend 'Ragno d'oro' and 'Lingua Lunga'. With so many nice places to go to we had to make a real effort to stay in and enjoy the 'Welcome basket' Alessandra thought fully left for us.
