Ideally placed for easy access for Rome airports, good road/rail links to Rome, Umbria,Tuscany etc. Soriano lies at an alltitude of 500m on Monte Cimino,the largest of the the region’s extinct volcanoes,close to the Umbrian border.
A beautiful area,Casa Sabina is the perfect base for exploring it.
The apartment,whilst fully refurbished still retains many original features,it provides a cool,clean,light environment within a friendly,relaxed and unspoilt community,a few minutes walk from the main Piazza. Parking,private entrance and staircase to apartment. |

The town is about 15 minutes from Orte, where you will find the A1 north-south Motorway and inter-city train services across the country. Soriano is also not far from several other popular locations –The famous Villa Lante with it's formal gardens at Bagnaia,as well as the "Parco die Mostri" at Bomarzo a garden and woodland with fantastic, gigantic mythological sculptures, carved from the rock are well worth a visit. Viterbo, a beautiful Papal city, is 20 minutes, Orvieto with it's magnifcent Cathederal 40 minutes. Beaches at Tarquinia ( famous Town / Etruscan Museum,Catacombs, Frescos) and Montalto di Castro, 45- 50mins drive, Perugia about an hour and a half and. Florence is 2 hours away and lets not forget Rome, reached within 40 mins from Orte station or about an hours drive. Rail fares are very reasonable. |

Two large bedrooms,one King size bed and one with twin beds,which also function as a double,doors to balconies. Ample wardrobe and drawer facility, space for an additional temporary bed for another child, travel cot available. Fine Eygyptian cotton bed linen.

The bedrooms and the lounge-diner have balconies which look out over the streets of Soriano,enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the world go by. Soriano is a very social town, with wonderful food and music festivals taking place throughout the year.
Explore the winding streets and outskirts of the town and go on a journey of discovery. Just a couple of minutes from the apartment you will find all the shops and facilities you could want, from traditional Italian butchers, grocers and bakers to bars, restaurants and producers of local artisan goods. Soriano even has its own speciality coffee roasters, Caffe Lini. Friday is market day, as well as a general market it offers a host of specialist sellers of salamis and cheeses and an abundance of other local specialities, from gnocchi and porcini mushrooms to wild boar and olive oil. Soriano life revolves around companionship and food and this is never more evident than during the chestnut harvest in October and the jazz music festival

The apartment has a selction of travel guides, and other tourist information, as well as a good selection of cookery books, novels etc. A coolbox and picnic tableware, beach towels and chairs you are welcome to use. Rental |
Payment in British Pounds or other currency by arrangement. A booking deposit of 20% is required, the booking will be held for 7 days prior to receipt of deposit. The deposit is only refundable if cancellations are within 30 days of booked period, cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival are non refundable,however if the property is re-let, a refund will be given less £50 administration charge. Final balance two weeks prior to arrival, a refundable breakage deposit of £150 to be paid with final balance, a receipt provided on all payments. Please contact the owners for payment details.The local authority have a recycling/rubbish procedure which must be followed - if not, a substantial fine is levied on the owners of property, therfore a deduction from the breakages deposit will be made. More details on the recycling can be found in the apartment.
All of our Rates include electricity/gas. Change of bed linen weekly, or more frequently for an additional 50 Euro charge.

We stayed in the apartment with our two kids, 5 and 7, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play and it was quite child friendly. The kids loved the town as it's so different to what they're used to and was a real place to explore. With the lake, woods and mountains there was plenty to keep them occupied as well keep us occupied too.

We decided to go somewhere different for a Christmas break as the apartment was strongly recommend by a friend of ours. If you're into your food like me, it was treat. The food shops and restaurants in Soriano and the surrounding areas fantastic. The apartment is very well equipped so a great place to find local ingredients and cook. The apartment is also very comfortable, great beds, sofas etc so good for cosy nights in the winter months.
The town is really pretty at this time of the year, overall a great place for winter break, with great restaurants often with log fires. Go!

Me and my husband visited Soriano for wedding. We liked it so much we decided to get married here. The Casciani family helped organise the wedding, with over 100 guests from England, we had a wonderful time. Soriano is both a lively and romantic place with touch of class without any pretence.

We had our honeymoon in Soriano, it's wonderful charming place, with fantastic scenery, history and great restaurants, couldn't recommend it enough. The apartment is stunning, really well designed and decorated and real treat to stay in.
