What visitors have said about Annilaun Lodge |

I stayed in this lovely house with my family last September. The location, overlooking beautiful Cashel Bay and with sweeping sea views from almost every window is spectacular !
The house itself is quite grand, covered with Virginia creeper and looks as though it has been nestled into it's pretty garden for at least a hundred years. I was very surprised to find that it is only 15 years old, which accounts for the excellent plumbing, all bedrooms
being ensuite. This is something I found invaluable with 3
generations of my family staying in the house. The style of the house is elegant country with some lovely antiques and paintings but very comfortable squashy sofas by the fireside for blustery days and evenings. In fact we were extremely lucky with the weather but this is Ireland so we really appreciated the open fire and generous supply of turf.
We also loved the location as the house is in a beautiful place but does not feel too isolated. There are two hotels within walking distance from the house and a nice old chapel.
I would recommend this house highly.

The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely garden. The house is in a beautiful setting with a view over Cashel Bay. Open fires in the evening were a treat after a long day's rambling and sight seeing. There is plenty to occupy family groups within a reasonable drive, with riding and virtually empty beaches for the children as well as eating and drinking for the adults. All in all, a marvellous relaxing holiday in a part of Ireland that is still unspoiled.
