The farm has been in the family for more than 300 years and the current owners set up there in 1997. From the ruins of the ancient farmhouses they created several independent properties, restored in keeping with tradition and each with its own story. What you will find here is seclusion, peace, contact with nature and lovely sandy beaches with crystal clear shallow waters, ideal for children. There is so much on offer here, from exploring the farm and tasting its produce, to heading further afield. The National Marine Park, in which the farm is set, was created to help protect the Loggerhead sea turtles and has meant that development in the area has been kept to a minimum. There is a mini market and bakery within 200m of the property, as well as a wide selection of restaurants and taverns within 200-1500m. |

The farm is an ideal base for the numerous activities on offer in the area. There are endless local footpaths and nature trails in the vicinity and mountain bikes available for use for anyone who wants to explore with wheels! The farm also has horses and riding is on offer, both on the surrounding trails and the nearby beaches. The proximity to the sea means that there are lots of watersports including sailing, scuba diving, waterskiing and boat trips in the marine park. There are several sandy beaches within 1km of the farm (all an easy walk) and endless more beaches worth a visit a little further afield. |

| You’ll need to fly to Zakynthos (Zante). The farm is just 14km from the airport. Car rentals can be arranged either through the owners of the farm or from the airport and detailed directions will be given on booking if you are arriving by car. |

Agrili is set in the Rizes olive grove and can sleep up to five people. In its 80sq.m. it has two air conditioned bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin bedded), spacious sitting room with fireplace and extra bed for a fifth person, fully equipped kitchen (electric stove and oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, electric coffee pot) and bathroom WC. There’s also a washing machine and iron / ironing board. The house is cleaned and linen changed twice a week.

Aside from the extensive farm which you are welcome to explore at your leisure, the house also has its own garden. Porto Roma beach is just a 600m walk or cycle from Agrili!

Further Details |
Each house is totally independent, and all are secluded and enjoy peace and quiet (they all have their own garden). Different in size and structure, they can accommodate from two to seven people, and all blend well into the Zakynthian countryside. The farm was the first organic farm within the Marine Park and is a pioneer in sustainable farming principles. There are horses, cows, sheep and goats on the farm, as well as olive groves from which the farm’s own olive oil is made. Visitors are advised to use water and power sparingly and power consumption is minimized by using energy saving bulbs, and solar power for hot water. Wastewater is recycled and used to water the plants. Last but not least they employ local people, supporting the economy and the community of the village.

Rental |
Cancellations may be made without penalty up to 30 days before the arrival date.
We reserve the right to charge a service fee equal to 30% of the contracted amount should the booking be cancelled 10-29 days before the arrival date; 65% if cancelled 3-9 days before the arrival date; and 100% if cancelled 0-2 days before the arrival date. The house can be rented with a car (Hyundai Atos, Hyundai Accent, Kia 4x4 Jeep or similar) included. The rental period must be at least 3 days or more. Car is fully insured. Pick-up and delivery of the car can be made to airport/port. Rental dates can be arranged locally. You can also hire boats, baby cots and organise airport transfers at extra cost.
