Mas de Cornud is a country inn with rustic charm and a unique ambience located in the heart of Provence. Every room has ensuite facilities. Individuals rooms are available from 10th April through to 17th July. Then from 18th July to 22nd August the house is rented as a whole (minimum two week booking period). B&B then re-commences from 23rd August until 3st October. B&B Prices include Daily breakfast / Taxes and service charges / Use of swimming pool and Jacuzzi / Pétanque court / Wi-fi access / Guest laptop / Secure Parking. We can also offer other alternatives during your stay – from family style lunches and inners, to cooking classes for a minimum of 6 participants in the professional indoor and outdoor kitchens on site. Unlike many villas in Provence, Mas de Cornud caters for both self catering and B&B guests. |

Set at the foot of the Aplilles mountains, Saint-Remy is an ideal place to discover Provence. Saint-Remy has a unique quality of light that inspired the most beautiful paintings of Vincent van Gogh. Take the time to relax and enjoy this fascinating place and share the Provencal "joie de vivre". There’s masses to do in the surrounding area – you can visit the delightful towns of Arles, St Remy and Aix-en-Provence, do tours of vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the Ventoux region, go shopping in the open air markets, take cooking classes and enjoy the spectacular landscape and ambience of Provence. For culture vultures there are museums and historical sites galore, and for those in search of activity, hiking, biking, horseriding are all on offer in the nearby area.

We have 6 rooms in total: 5 doubles, 1 suite for 2-5 people. Each have TVs with a full DVD and video library in English plus a Bose HiFi system. We also offer high speed internet access (laptop available if required) as well as a fully equipped laundry room with washing machine and dryer. In the kitchen there is also a dishwasher, fridges and freezers – everything you would need!

We have a beautiful pool as well as a Jacuzzi with a music system. There are wonderful places to eat outdoors on either the terrace or the pool house, and there are full kitchen facilities outside as well. There is even a wood burning chateau style fireplace with a rotisserie! Gardens, pool and utilities are all maintained regularly so that you have to worry about nothing more than the next meal, or turning the page of your book! So if fully self catering villas in Provence seem too much like hard work, then come here!

Conditions of Rental |
For B&B there is a minimum 2 night stay throughout. For the vacation rental side, there is a minimum rental period of 2 weeks, arriving Saturday after 16h00, and checking out Saturday before 10h00. We offer you a 10% discount on additional weeks booked. When booking, we take a 50% deposit to confirm rental along with an option to fix final payment at same rate of exchange as the deposit.There is also a security deposit of €5,000 which is returned on checkout, less charges where relevant. Your final payment is due 60 days before arrival date. Cancellation charges: 15% of the rental if cancelled 60 days prior to arrival date; 50% of rental if cancelled 30 days before arrival date and 100% of rental if cancelled between 29 days and the arrival date.

Mas de Cornud, home of David and Nito Carpita, nestled in the lavendar- scented countryside of Provence welcomes you and invites you to enjoy the many pleasurable experiences of St. Remy and surrounds. The market at St. Remy is the most fascinating market I have ever visited. Nito and David celebrate the food, wine, people, culture and history of their area which is nutured by the summer sun . The visit to the Hospice where Van Gough painted in vibrant yellows and vivid blues was a highlight to me as I studied art.

Just a quick note to tell you again how much we enjoyed our stay with you. I found a site that covers "Social Petanque on a Bounded Court." The author maintains that this form of Petanque is becoming very popular in the U.S. but says "My only knowledge of locations to play Petanque on bounded courts is at family oriented, clothing optional resorts and campgrounds." Fortunately you don't have "clothing optional" rules even though you have a bounded court. PS. Please give Cleopatra a little scratch for me.
