At Lei Chambris we offer therapeutic activities which enhance health and beauty as a whole…. body, mind and spirit. All yoga and meditation classes are given in beautiful, tranquil surroundings and are suitable for everybody, including beginners. Come with a group and enjoy a peaceful retreat in this stunning area. The yoga we practise is Hatha Yoga - the benefits of yoga are huge – increased flexibility, increased muscle tone, reduced anxiety and depression, improved circulation. The positive effects of meditation on the mind and body are well recognized - reducing stress, chronic pain and anxiety, increasing longevity - and many other wonderful qualities. We can also provide Aromatherapy and Swedish massage. |

Lei Chambris is about chilling out and relaxing, but many activities can be arranged ...There are wonderful walks to suit all levels, taking you through some of the most spectacular countryside in Provence. Maps and guides are available. Cycles and mopeds are available for hire. Maps provided for routes to suit all levels of fitness. Guided cycle tours also available. There are many activities at the stunning Gorge du Verdon including hang gliding, white water rafting, kayaking and trekking at various levels. Canoeing and windsurfing can be sampled at the immense Lac de St Croix. Horse riding can be arranged at various local stables. Tennis can be played at nearby Villecroze. There are many golf courses that accept visitors within a 50km radius. At Chateau de Berne, try your skills at quad biking, or for the more adventurous, there is an outdoor assault course. Wine tasting can be organised at several local chateaux. |

The tipi sleeps two in comfortable beds on raised wooden flooring. Also inside is a seating area. Outside is a summer kitchen with BBQ. The shower / toilet is in a separate wooden cabin. Hammocks hang from the trees where you can chill out in the heat of the day.

The delightful domaine has a wonderful 15 metre, swimming pool. Chill out under the gazebo on one of the comfortable sofas. There is a large covered terrace where meals are served if dining at the Bastide. ...and all the time you will be surrounded by nature at its very best.

Lei Chambris is just two kms from the charming medieval villages of Villecroze and Salernes and a few kms from Tourtour in the unspoilt region of the Var in Provence. Villecroze: Tiny village full of charm where time stands still. Stroll through the old walled medieval village and visit the caves in the picturesque formal gardens. Salernes: Home of the terracotta tiles still manufactured here today and where you can visit many delightful showrooms, sample the Provençal way of life and visit the market on Wednesdays and Sundays. Tourtour: An artists' colony known locally as 'the village in the sky'. It has truly spectacular views. There are many wonderful restaurants to choose from in the above-mentioned villages and surroundings. Plus....within 40 minutes is the spectacular Gorge de Verdon, the biggest canyon in Europe, and the emerald green Lac de Saint Croix. Only one hour away are the beaches and the glamour of the Cote d’Azur.

Delicious meals can be prepared for you, using produce from our organic vegetable garden. We offer wonderful home-cooked food and can cater for special diets. Our organic produce is also available to purchase. Extra cleaning services can be provided during your stay, if required. English and French spoken. Weekly cleaning and linen change is included. We can offer reduced rates for long winter lets. Sometimes the entire domaine is available for rental - please contact the owner for details. The owner lives in the bastide and is very happy to help with any queries you might have during your stay.
