  This stylish Nice apartment is spacious and sunny with wonderful views from the windows and large balcony. It sleeps 2 comfortably but can fit up to 5 in it if you so choose. Situated on the 3rd floor of a distinguished private building, it has all the modern comforts you could want, including a concierge, a lift and a sought-after private ground floor garage. The balcony is 20m long and spans the whole apartment, which itself is about 1000 square feet. It is not often that you find such space and such views, and private garage parking in the centre of Nice!  
 
  Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation  
  The apartment is a seven-minute stroll to the beaches and to the delightful Parc Vigier, the marina where all the billionaires' yachts are moored. It is also close to the old port which is surrounded by a marvellous selection of charming restaurants, and there are excellent local shops and a big supermarket. It is ten minutes to the Chateau Hill and Park, the magnificent Cathedrale Sainte Reparate, the fascinating Old Town, the Flower Market, the Antiques Quarter, the famous Promenade des Anglais and the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains. The shopping, eating and drinking possibilities in Nice are endless and Nice is also perfectly placed for exploring the rest of the Cote d’Azur and the French Riviera, with its many delights. With a central bus station nearby ready to take you wherever you want to go, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to day trips.

  Getting There: The property is conveniently only a ten minute drive from Nice Airport. There is a private garage on the ground floor of the property so if you come by car or rent one during your stay it will be safe and convenient. For those who prefer not to walk, there is a bus stop just 150 metres from the apartment (St Aignan - Route Nos. 30 and 32a).

  Interior Details The interior of the apartment gives a true feeling of the French Riviera and is furnished with many Art Deco collectors’ pieces throughout. The shower room, for example, has shower doors that resemble the highly regarded 1930s Lalique etched glass. The bedroom has a king size bed which can be split into twin beds and there are two fold-up proper mattress beds and an armchair bed. There is a separate toilet so even with a full house the apartment feels spacious. There are French windows in the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen, all of which open out on to the glorious balcony. The large, sun-filled lounge is equipped with a dining table and chairs for 5, a radio/CD player and a television and DVD player, and the kitchen area has all the mod cons.

  Exterior Details The property is situated in a wonderfully commanding position on raised ground at Mont Boron, the most sought-after part of Nice, and the views are outstanding both by day and by night. To the south-east and the south the beautifully blue Mediterranean, to the south-west right across the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels) to Antibes, to the west along the Promenade des Anglais, the Chateau Hill and park and behind that the town, and to the north-west the magnificent mountains standing behind Grasse and St Paul de Vence. At night-time the Chateau Hill and park are dramatically illuminated and tens of thousands of lights twinkle all around the Bay.  
 
  Further Details There is a dining area for 5 in the lounge and there is also a marble-topped dining table and 4 chairs on the balcony for taking al-fresco meals outside whilst enjoying the view. A recent visitor said that sitting there was like having your own private terrace on board a luxury ocean liner! For the ultimate relaxation there are 2 sun-loungers and there is a full-width electronically-controlled sun-blind on the front, to give you shade should you so choose. There are also electronically-controlled shutters to keep the whole apartment cooler on very hot days. As this Nice apartment opens on 2 sides of the building you also have ‘through-air’ which is a blessing on very hot days and nights.
