General Info |

| |
This 2nd floor apartment has 2 bedrooms which sleep up to 4 people, but you can easily accommodate 6 or even 7 by using the fold-up beds and the sofa bed in the lounge. It is a classic town property, within moments of all the museums, galleries, cafes, restaurants and brasseries you could ask for, yet it is also a mere 200 metres from the Mediterranean beaches and the famous Promenade des Anglais. The property is very stylish and has delightful period touches throughout - including a chandelier in every room, even the bathroom! All in all, the apartment is very light, spacious and sunny, with generous sized rooms and marble-tiled flooring throughout. It is equipped with all the modern comforts. |

Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation |
|
| |
The apartment is just minutes from well-known sights such as the Negresco Hotel, the Musee d’Art et d’Histoire and the Musee des Beaux Arts. You also have La Cite de la Buffa within 150 metres, which is the biggest covered market in the centre of Nice with over 40 stalls selling top quality fresh produce and a wide range of local specialities. As you would expect there are also cafes, bars, shops and restaurants aplenty. All of Nice’s best attractions are a stone’s throw away - the Old Town, the Marina, the Chateau Hill, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains (to name but a few). And the apartment is also ideally placed for you to explore the rest of the ‘French Riviera’, either by car or on one of the many buses. |

Interior Details |
The whole apartment is very light and spacious and makes an enchanting impression from the moment you walk up the marble staircase. The large hall leads to a south-facing lounge which has a 300 square foot dining area - perfect for dinner parties! The French windows give access to the wrought iron balustrade from where you can watch the world go by, and the lounge is also equipped with a CD player/radio, a DVD player and a television. From the hall there are 2 elegant, high ceilinged bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed and windows with a balconette with views over the inner courtyard. Bedroom 2 also has a balconette and has twin beds with proper mattress. The kitchen is typically French and has room to sit for breakfast. It is equipped with all the mod cons, including the all-important cafetiere! The traditional bathroom with bath and shower facility is large and well-fitted and there is a separate toilet.

Exterior Details |
The lounge has a balcony and both bedrooms have ornate, wrought-iron balconettes which look out over the surrounding streets and courtyards - perfect for sipping coffee and watching the people of Nice as they go about their daily lives. The town location of the apartment is such that you are literally a stone’s throw from local cafes, restaurants and shops, and also the many attractions of Nice, not least the lovely beaches and the Mediterranean Sea.

Further Details |
There is an entry phone system for added security and a car park 200 metres away should you need it. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and there are 2 fold-up beds with proper mattresses, which are normally stored out of the way and provide a 5th and 6th bed if required. In addition, one of the sofas in the lounge gives you the option to convert it into a double bed, should you wish. Because the apartment is what the French call “traversant” (running from the front of the building through to the back) you have light from the south and north and 'through-air' - very important on hot days and nights. All the windows and French doors have the traditional louvred shutters to keep the apartment cooler on very hot days. There is also central heating, if you should ever need it.
