The apartment is located in what has recently become a very trendy neighborhood called So-Pi ( South of Pigalle ) out of the tourist area, yet within a five-minute walk of Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. The apartment looks out on the street. The surrounding area is bursting with bars and restaurants, both modern and traditional, and a wide variety of shops. |

| Not only do there seem to be more ways of getting to Paris than ever before, but the transport options keep getting cheaper. There are flights to Paris from all over the world, and competition between airlines means that for those flexible as to when they travel, getting to Paris needn’t break the bank. Travellers from the UK can use Eurostar too, good value if booked more than 14 days in advance, and including a Saturday or Sunday night. Central London to central Paris is around three hours. |

There's a king sized bed, a convertible bed and two singles (though note, there is only one bedroom). The eye-catcher is an original work of art called "Laudanum" by Lisa Holden in the Pre-Raphaelite style. The picture depicts a woman under influence of Laudanum - an opium-related drug used in the mid and late 19th century and popular then amongst Montmartre artists and prostitutes. The artwork suggests a strong feeling of peace and romance that which is in line with the atmosphere of the apartment.

During a stay of three days in the cozy "Romantic Studio", we were surprised by the serenity we experienced in a metropolis like Paris. The location of the Studio is ideal to visit the beautiful and exciting city without being exhausted after a long day. The underground station is nearby the Studio, but we made use of the "Velib" system provided by the city: Vélos en libre-service à Paris. It's amazing how easy you can cycle through Paris, and visit a lot within a short period of time. Back in the studio, we enjoyed watching a movie on the B&O television. The large option of DVD's, CD's and information books brought us in a world of the real "Parisien". The kitchen is ideal to prepare a tasty meal or a simple "baguette au fromage avec un verre de vin rouge".
We had a very "Romantic"; weekend in Paris! Highly recommended!

Fantastic intro to renting in Paris...took all the anxiety of going it alone, away! My wife and I tied up a month touring France with a week at the Romantic Loft in Montmartre. What a lovely, sleek apartment this is! Polished wood, deck platform with adjustable bed, great electronics...very cool and welcoming after a day taking in the sights. Reminiscent of a large sailboat interior, cobalt blue tile and glass in the compact bathroom. Modern and impeccably clean kitchen area. A must see, at a great value!

This is the first time that I rent an apartment in Paris after many visits. After staying at the Romantic Studio Loft, it will be very difficult to go back to staying in the small Paris hotel room again, especailly if you come with your family. The Romantic Loft Studio has good space for my family with two teenage daughters and everything for your convenience - nice tv, stereo, kitchen and separate area for bathroom and toilet. The place is quiet and within 5-10 minutes walk from metro, Montmarte and Gare du Nord. There are also nearby boulangerie, grocery and restaurants.
