Edward and Sharon Parks invite you to hire their 19th century château, delightfully situated within its own partially wooded grounds and set in the midst of some of Normandy's most lovely countryside. Chateau de Beaulieu was built around 1851, and Baron and Baronness de Beaulieu are buried in the churchyard found by a walk through the woods behind the house. Rather more than your average gite in Normandy, try a chateau in Normandy instead! |

There are endless activities available in the area to suit all ages and interests. Aside from the well known WW2 battlefields, we are 5 mins drive from a Norman Castle in St Sauveur le Vicomte and 10 mins drive to the long flat shallow uncrowded west coast beaches of Normandy (that everyone drives past, to get to Brittany!) Nearby there are opportunities for cycling, hiking, horseriding and golf, as well as lots of watersports on the nearby beaches. |

The accommodation consists of hall, drawing room, dining room, library, kitchen, lavatory, five ensuite double/twin bedrooms, two triple "children's" bedrooms and an additional "family" bathroom. The chateau is fully centrally heated, double glazed, the beds are huge and comfortable, 5 bathrooms are completely refurbished to a 4 star standard. Original marble fireplaces,and ceiling mouldings. The chateau is comfortably furnished to enable everyone to relax.

The owners specialise in private, small group, guided tours of the D Day beaches and battlefields of World War Two Normandy, as well as the Roman occupation of Gaul and the Norman realm of William the Conqueror.

Conditions of Rental |
Deposit 20% (by cheque) to confirm booking at the chateau in Normandy. Balance payable 8 weeks in advance. Good housekeeping deposit (£300) by cheque 4 weeks in advance or by cash on arrival.
Deposit will be lost if booking cancelled within 6 weeks of letting. Refunded minus admin. charge if new, short notice booking can be made.
