Beautifully situated in Midi Pyrenees in the South West of France, an easy hour’s drive from Pau and Lourdes airport, Tresbos Farmhouse is a stylish family home in the heart of the rolling French countryside. Set within 15 acres of farmland and surrounded by corn and sunflower fields, it has open views of the nearby lake and the Pyrenees mountains. With 4 beautiful bedrooms, complete with super kingsize beds, Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy dressing gowns and 2 spacious bathrooms equipped with power showers, claw foot baths and Arran Aromatics toiletries, we can offer you the style and comfort you need to make the most of a relaxing holiday. The kitchen and leisure areas are well equipped to ensure your holiday feels like a holiday, and the pool and garden are a great place to kick back and take it easy. |

The surrounding area is beautiful with views of the Pyrenees and the lake from the garden. We have provided bikes so that you can explore and a list of local markets so you always have somewhere new to buy your local produce. The local auberge provides brilliant local cooking and is only 3 minutes in the car. There is a market most mornings in one of the local towns, all within 15 minutes, which are full of fabulous local produce and lots of wine and every weekend the towns take turns to hold antique markets. There are 4 great golf courses near us, a spa in Val Louron (45 minutes away ) and massage and reflexology in Trie which you can book in advance. There is an outdoor activity centre at Pavie (40 minutes), a waterpark at Mirande (30 minutes). 700 yards away we have a huge lake which supports a nature reserve and there are picturesque walks around it and through the surrounding woodland. |

The 4 bedroom home is large and airy with light bright bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and cosy sitting rooms to relax in. There is a well equipped kitchen and large dining room with a big round table perfect for family get togethers. The grown up sitting room has a large open fire and in the games room there are comfy sofas, a TV and DVD player and lots of books, games and toys. Large claw footed baths and power showers, Superking sized beds, fluffy dressing gowns and a generous welcome pack ensure that your holiday is comfortable and relaxing.

The 15 metre heated swimming pool is alarmed for your safety and the garden is private and enclosed. A large outdoor grange perfect for bbqs and entertaining looks out onto the garden and swimming pool. The grange is equipped with a large dining table and chairs as well as a gas bbq. We provide bikes for your convenience as well as a great children's carriage - perfect for little legs!

Having young children of our own, we know what you might find useful. The pool has wide roman steps ideal for little legs learning to swim and an alarmed cover to keep them safe when it’s not in use. The garden is enclosed and features a wendyhouse on stilts, ride ons and bikes and some great ELC outdoor games.
There are lots of indoor games, books and toys as well as a TV, DVDs and playstation. Baby essentials include: Steriliser, double pushchair, highchairs, 2 cots, potty & step, baby monitors, activity mat, baby bouncer, bumbo, bath mat, bedsides and UV tent. If you can bear to tear yourself away, take the bikes provided and explore the local countryside or walk around the nearby lake and bird sanctuary. Spend a day at the relaxing spas, stroll around the golf courses, visit the medieval villages, meander around the local markets and enjoy the amazing mountain scenery. We can offer stove top meals to order for your arrival if you wish.

Rental |
Refundable breakages deposit of £150 required, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). A 30% deposit is payable on reservation. Full payment due 8 weeks prior to commencement of rental period. Changeover day is Saturday high season. Short breaks available out of high season.

We have just returned from a FANTASTIC week at Tresbos. We have baby twins and a toddler and found the facilities for the children second to none. We described it as a home from home, but like no home we will ever be fortunate enough to own, due to the level of luxury and the amazing views!
