Nestling in the Midi Pyrenees region of South West France between Toulouse, Bordeaux and Biarritz, Lucante was renovated and transformed in 2006/2007 by a talented architect using traditional materials (cob walls, stucco, whitewash etc..) giving real charm and a combination of old and modern style. The house sits on the top of a hill on 6 acres of land dominating the famous Astarac hills, often compared to Tuscany, with a panoramic view of the Pyrenees, with wonderful sunsets. |

The position of the house between the beaches of Atlantic Ocean (Biarritz) , the Pyrenees, and the towns of Bordeaux and Toulouse, is privileged. This region has a great climate, wonderful landscape and delicious regional food and wine. You can visit historic sites, the famous " bastides" and enjoy all sorts of music festivals. The nearest shop (small supermarket) is in Saint Blancard five minutes away, a larger supermarket at Masseube (10 mins) and many typical open air markets with local products in the nearby area. St Blancard has a lake (200 ha) just five minutes away where you can try your hand at all sorts of watersports. Lucante is just one hour away from the ski stations of the Pyrenees. |

| Lucante is just 2 hours from Biarritz. The Gers is bordered in the north by the A62 motorway and by the A62 motorway to the south. Nearest airports serving Lucante are Pau (Ryanair) 1hour, Toulouse ( Easyjet, Flybe, BA) 1hour. Train at Auch (30 mins) via TGV to Agen. |

There are five bedrooms, and the property sleeps a maximum of 12 people (in four double beds and four single beds). There are three bathrooms and two separate WC’s. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate dining area. All linen and towels provided. Washing machine, iron etc all provided.
