Le Moulin de Lantouy is set in a valley of woodlands and meadows with direct access to the river Lot. The Lantouy itself is a pure underground water source creating a lake in nearby woods from which runs the Lantouy river through the grounds, bringing with it a richness of nature and peacefulness. There are no distractions nearby to disturb the quiet. The gîte provides its own privacy, whilst embracing the abundant nature all around. Self catering with hot water, heating and log burners for the cooler months. Barbecue, ice making machine, freezer and laundry facilities are also available. The experience is very much of being at one with nature, so whether you prefer an active time or something more restful, le Moulin de Lantouy is the ideal retreat. |

There’s masses to do in the surrounding area for children and adults alike. At the Moulin itself you can go canoeing (we can organise informal canoe tours on the River Lot and Cele), swimming (in the river - the water is very clear and suitable for bathing), fishing, volleyball, boules, table tennis and of course exploring the extensive grounds. Locally, Cajarc village has all the shops you’ll need for necessities with plenty of local produce, bars, a tourist office and other local amenities. There are other activities available from here including water-skiing, river trips, swimming (pool), bicycle hire and tennis. The surrounding area has lots of walking opportunities, horse riding, potholing, skiing, boat trips, wine tasting and sightseeing in the beautiful nearby towns and villages. |

Le Moulin sleeps 6 in three large bedrooms (plus 1 supplement). There’s a large bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. The well equipped and generously sized kitchen / dining area has direct access to a side patio which looks across the meadow to the Lantouy. There is a large sitting room with doors opening on to a terrace over the mill channel. There is satellite TV, Hifi and WiFi. There is heating and a log burner for the cooler months. The building is cool in the summer due to its thick stone walls. A freezer and an ice machine are available in the common area plus a washing machine and a dryer (tokens). Bed linen, cot and DVD player are available on request.

The property is set in woodlands and meadows of approx. 10 acres in a very peaceful valley. The Lantouy river, whose source lies about 1km away in woodlands, flows through the grounds and is surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. The water is very clear and suitable for bathing. No vehicles to disturb you on the property. Private guest parking lot for the Moulin de Lantouy opposite the entrance of the property. Access with vehicles to the holiday houses only on the day of arrival and departure.

1 supplementary person is authorised at an additional charge. There will be an additional charge for domestic animals. Maximum 2 animals. Rental periods normally run from a Saturday to a Saturday in peak periods. However, wherever possible we will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Weekend lets and reductions for less than 6 are available out of high season.
