General Info |
|
| |
Maison de Pêcheur is a lovingly converted fisherman's cottage located just a stone's throw from the harbour front, in one of the picturesque hollyhock-lined lanes (car-free) typical of the Ile de Ré. Equally close by is the indoor market, selling a mouthwatering selection of seafood, cheese, meats, fruits, vegetables, patisseries and other delicacies.
The nautically themed decor combined with period features such as terracotta tiling, exposed beams and stripped floorboards lend warmth and charm to this delightful holiday hideway.
The accommodation is set out over two floors. Downstairs, there is a living-dining room with fireplace, separate kitchen and pretty courtyard for outdoor dining. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with 140 cm double bed, one with bunk beds), bathroom with bath and shower attachment, and a separate WC.
The cottage provides a homely retreat and an ideal base from which to explore the many treasures of this beautiful island. |

"We've had such a lovely week here, and the cottage has been a wonderful retreat (bunk beds and fairy lights hugely popular with our four year-old!). Thank you, Jenny, for all the welcome touches!"

"Our second trip to St. Martin and just as good, if not better, than the first. Already want to come back. Thoroughly enjoyed Jenny's recommended cycling trips and also a night-time trip to the aquarium in La Rochelle. Weather not as good as last year, but Ile de Ré is fantastic whatever the weather. We hope to be back for a third trip sometime again!"
