Suffolk Character Cottages have three properties to rent. Stay Barn and Old Drift House are in the mediaeval village of Kersey so if there are too many of you for one, why not rent both properties? Stay Barn is an 18th century barn with 4 double bedrooms (sleeps 8). Old Drift House is a 15th century house with 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8). Wheelers Cottage is a 16th century cottage in the peaceful village of Naughton and sleeps 3 in two bedrooms. 5 star facilities at all cottages: Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen with premium appliances. Essential supplies:d/w tabs, washing liquids, kitchen/lavatory rolls. Freeview TV & DVD Player with films. CD, tape, & radio player. WiFi broadband internet. Ipod player and charger. Stay Barn's oak timbers exude a warm welcome, with a particularly stunning vaulted landing and master bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with stylish & premium appliances. Gable Bedrooms with their own unique style. Four double bedrooms (1 of the twin bedrooms is reached via a separate staircase). Stay Barn also has a home cinema. Old Drift House has characteristics of a bygone era, and hosts a pleasing mix of antiques and everyday furniture. Everywhere you look there's something to catch the eye from a 16th c. breadoven and inglenooks to the baby grand piano always adorned with fresh flowers. Wheelers Cottage - with a leather sofa, mini chaise and Victorian nursing chair, the living room has been thoughtfully furnished. No expense has been spared on the top spec furnishings, fittings. With its eclectic mix of style, comfort and character, Wheelers Cottage is a real bijou bolthole. Both bedrooms overlook the relics of the forge wall courtyard.

Even better than expected. Everything you could possibly need. We didn't feel anything needed improvement. The appliances: very easy to use. Quality of the guest information folder: very informative. Most liked about Stay Barn: Kitchen, media room, view from the bedroom. Check-In with our property manager: very helpful indeed. We had a fantastic and extremely relaxing weekend, booking was all very easy especially as we organised it all very last minute. Jan, the property manager made us feel at home immediately, our only disappointment was that we didn't have the time to stay longer.

S and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and it more than exceeded our expectations, we were so looking forward to having some time away together and your cottage provided us with the haven we needed.
As I've said the cottage more than lived up to expectation and more! The photo's gave us a flavour of how homely the cottage was but once inside... all the special things that you provided made it a special experience.
I don't think we needed anything that we couldn't find in the cottage, we only cooked one meal and everything we needed was there for us to use, even the bottle opener! We didn't get round to trying the coffee maker but we noticed that it also makes hot chocolate which I will definitely try out next time!
We loved the robes they were so comfortable and soft! we absolutely loved the silk sheets and duvet, the bed was really comfortable and we just didn't want to get up, in fact we had breakfast in bed on 2 out of 4 days!! The bathroom was lovely and had everything we could possibly need, everything was so lovely and clean and cosy and wonderful.
The beach hut - we really enjoyed exploring the hut and even though it was not a very sunny day, the hut was cosy and warm and even sitting inside we had a lovely view of the sea and could hear the waves - it was absolutely lovely and also had everything we needed, we even tried out the sun hats!
To summarise, when we arrived at the cottage we were bowled over by how cosy and warm and welcoming it felt, within an hour of arriving it felt like our special place and we were at home. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay, we would definitely like to come back and I think we will remember our stay forever.

Lovely house, photos don't really do it justice! Spacious, homely and very clean. Beautiful gardens, everything we needed.Most liked: location of house, very pretty village. Spacious home, ideal for a two families. Everything worked!
