Southwold is a charming north Suffolk seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Almost an island, being bounded by the North Sea to the East, by the River Blyth and Southwold harbour to the South-West and by Buss Creek to the North, there is just the one road in to and out of Southwold. With its working lighthouse, beach huts, award-winning pier, busy harbour, cliff top cannon and of course the beach, Southwold is a quintessentially English resort town with lots to see in do, both in the town and the surrounding area. The cottage is just a couple of minutes walk from a variety of pubs and restaurants. |

Enter the cottages via the side of the house into a large sitting room with two woodburning stoves and sky TV. There is a small bright kitchen with 4x ring electric hob, two ovens (one with grill), small dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment. The kitchen leads to a small bathroom with sloping roof over bath with hand shower mixer and basin. There is a separate lavatory with basin. The sunny dining room has a table, chairs, and a cupboard (containing washing machine). Upstairs (the stairs have stairgates top and bottom) there is a front-facing double bedroom with double bed, wood-burning stove, chest of drawers and hanging cupboard. There is a back bedroom with a single bed, wood-burning stove, a cupboard and a window facing the sea. From this bedroom you go through a door up some stairs to the low-ceilinged top attic bedroom which is under the sloping eaves of the roof.
