The master bedroom is entered by climbing a magical, spiral staircase. The leaves of the magnificent lime tree gently stroke the cedar shingle and timber clad exterior, whilst the fabulous starlit Somerset skies can be glimpsed through the fairytale triangular skylights and the sensational opening triangular windows! The six foot white iron bed lies beneath a triangular skylight and you can lie in bed and be within the tree's wonderful canopy and also under the stars! There is an extra bed in this room, and a set of full sized bunk beds downstairs. |

With such easy access to the Quantock Hills, Exmoor and The Blackdown Hills, you can easily get out and about for some great walks, cycle rides, picnics and adventures. Somerset has heaps of great attractions for children of all ages. There are many pubs, restaurants and take-aways, enabling you to eat wherever and whatever you wish. Our local in the village of Halse is a fabulous pub (4 mins walk). There’s lots of information in the Treehouse, but some of the options include: West Somerset Railway, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Glastonbury, Quantock Hills, Hestercombe Gardens, Bath, National Trust properties, Exmoor, Exeter, Crealy Adventure Park, Oake Manor Golf Course, Tropiquaria, Taunton, Clarks Shopping Village, Riding, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Bike hire, Fishing, Racing, Quad Biking, Surfing....you name it! |

The fairy tale exterior of The Treehouse opens to reveal a spacious, sumptuous interior, carefully designed to accommodate a couple or a family of up to five in luxury. The simple, shaker style kitchen, with its beech worktop and Belfast sink compliments all that is natural and organic at The Treehouse. There is a comfortable dining area with a wonderful oak table next to a window. In the living area is a great wood burning stove designed to complement the under floor heating and add a focal point for those chilly evening after the hot tub! The comfy, squishy leather sofa is perfect for relaxing and a plasma TV with sky free view channels, I-pod dock and digital radio complete the area! The fabulous bathroom with its roll top bath is a room in which to while away an hour or two with a good book and a glass of something cold!

The Treehouse is situated on our small farm overlooking fields, there are lambs, chickens and ponies to watch grazing and a large, safe, enclosed garden. There are three fabulous decking areas, one of which is home to the wonderful, cedar hot tub.

The Tree House is well equipped in all respects for family holidays! Satellite TV means that Cbeebies is never far away, and there is a collection of DVD’s for all ages. We can provide age graded baskets of toys for the children as well as cards and games for children and grown ups! Stair gates are fitted, sockets have safety guards and there is plastic crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. We can let you borrow an enormous amount of baby and child accessories so please just let us know what you require. We have teamed up with Gayla at Select Catering and are pleased to be able to offer a fabulous menu of both ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook delicious meals. On receipt of the balance for your holiday, we send a copy of the Select Catering Menu. The amount and quality of local farm shops and opportunities for buying local food is staggering! For the ultimate in relaxation why not indulge in a spot of pampering! One of the South West’s premier spas, Cedar Falls, is just two miles away. Or My Personal Sanctuary will come and do pampering and treatments in the comfort of the house!

Rental |
25% deposit required on booking. Balance due 12 weeks before start date. £100 security deposit payable. The Treehouse is always supplied with Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towels, flowers, cosy bathrobes, toiletries and we leave a complimentary basket of seasonal local produce for you all to enjoy. We also always leave the woodburning stove ready to light in the winter months. We are very aware of our carbon footprint and have tried to make this as minimal as possible. Indeed, for every booking made we will plant a native hardwood tree!
