Just outside the village of Welton you will find these 5 delightful yurts, each 6 metres across and uniquely themed. Take your pick from Gothic, French, Balinese, Oriental and Mongolian and prepare to be impressed by the amount of care and effort that has gone into each one. The hosts are very keen that guests should not be without their everyday luxuries, so the site is well equipped with flushing toilets and a shower room finished to a high standard. The yurts have everything you could need for a comfortable and cosy stay, there are all sorts of available extras on offer and the site is surrounded by picturesque Lincolnshire countryside. This is the perfect way to get back to nature in peaceful surroundings without having to forgo creature comforts and a few indulgences. |

Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation |
|

Lincoln, just 6 miles away, is like a miniature York, with an amazing cathedral and lots of independent stores and antiques shops. There are plenty of good eateries, not least the Wig & Mitre and the Bailhouse. Likewise there are lots of good restaurants in Nettleham nearby and the Kedgeree fish shop in Welton is excellent. If you head towards the coast the lovely traditional seaside town of Sutton on Sea is just 35 minutes away, and Skegness is only 30 minutes. Nearer to the yurts there is a showground which offers laser tag and puts on regular events, and just a few miles away there is extreme karting and a Sundown Adventure Land for the children. |

Interior Details |
The Balinese yurt is decorated throughout with authentic imported rosewood furniture from Bali, including a hand-carved ‘wedding bed’ which is over 100 years old! There is an abundance of storage and the bed has lots of snuggly throws and cushions. The French yurt boasts a super king four-poster bed, along with shabby-chic fittings and furniture. The whole yurt is crisp and cream and very romantic. By contrast, the Gothic yurt has gothic-inspired furnishings and a super king vampire bed – you won’t ever stay anywhere like it! The Mongolian yurt is full of hand-painted decorations and is characterised by bright, traditional colours and genuine Mongolian furniture. It even has a shisha pipe and tobacco. The Oriental yurt has a spectacular king size round leather bed and 2 antique handmade wardrobes which make it feel sumptuous and special.

Exterior Details |
Each yurt has its own decked area for you to sit and watch the sun set or rise and we have provided all yurts with a couple of chairs and a table. About a minute’s walk away are the shower cabin and the 2 toilets. The shower is powered by a generator and you will be shown how to operate it on arrival. There is also a small kitchen area and a large fridge for all guests to use. The yurts are based on a working farm so you are very much part of rural Lincolnshire and you may get a friendly visit from one of the many horses! Phone coverage is good on most networks and we ask that people keep noise to a minimum after 11:30pm. The wood burning stoves are only for burning wood but we do recycle and compost as much as possible.

Thank you so much Darren and Katherine. The yurt was the most beautiful place, everything we needed. Our 3 year old daughter and dog had equally as much fun – suitable for all. We especially thank you for your kind attention to us, you really cared about your guests. Best of luck for the future, we will be recommending you.

Totally fabulous - will spread the word, this is an amazing alternative for a get away weekend especially for me (being more of a Private Benjamin kind of camper!).
