There is a wealth of things to see and do in Ramsgate, from cycling scenic coastal trails and lazing on gorgeous sandy beaches to soaking up the seafront’s bustling atmosphere or discovering the town’s rich history. If you want beautiful beaches, you’ve come to the right place. Thanet and Ramsgate have excellent ones, Viking Bay offers a trip down memory lane complete with sticks of rock and donkey rides, and Pegwell Bay is a National Nature Reserve, a great place for spotting curlews and oyster catchers. Likewise there are some sensational stretches of coastline to hike along, in particular the 27 mile long Viking Coastal Trail. East Kent is renowned for its numerous golf courses and if you want to be less active, enjoy Ramsgate’s cosmopolitan café culture as you watch the boats come and go. Or you could discover the town’s rich nautical history at the Ramsgate Maritime Museum or visit the resident seals at Goodwin Sands. Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day! |

Exterior Details |
The luxurious sitting room leads out to a magnificent terrace overlooking Ramsgate Marina, one of the largest and most impressive marinas in the UK. Its emerald waters are a hive of activity with yachts, fishing vessels and pleasure boats passing through daily. On the terrace you’ll find tables, chairs and sunloungers from where you can take advantage of Ramsgate’s wonderful weather. A spacious master bedroom also has its own terrace – perfect for kicking back or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. In early spring the famous Race of the Classics sees tall sailing ships cruise into Ramsgate Harbour. These traditional boats race between Rotterdam and Amsterdam taking in Ramsgate and Ostend en route. As the boats enter the marina it’s an eye-catching sight. Set on high, our apartments will give you a stunning view of it.
