Wild Comfort provides luxury camping in beautiful natural surroundings. All you need to do is arrive, turn off your mobile, and relax. Each camp we create only exists for a few weeks every year so this is a sustainable, low impact, self-sufficient way to enjoy wonderful places without crowds and holiday home developments. If you're looking for a family holiday where children can explore and adventure then this is the place. From building fires and cooking outdoors to rockpooling and making friends with farm animals, they will have the time of their lives. On the other hand, there are few places so romantic as a tent under the stars - toasting marshmallows, taking long walks, eating al fresco, and snuggling up under canvas. And if you want a unique setting for a birthday or a hen weekend, get all your friends together and sing songs round a campfire before heading for the local pub or curing your hangover with a quick dip in the sea. Whoever you're here with, you'll love every minute. |

Wherever you are, you will be living close to amazing beaches and rivers, the wilds of Dartmoor and the charming towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe. Of course what our holidays really give you is something that holiday homes and hotels can't… the feeling of complete relaxation, freedom and space that only a complete immersion in nature can offer. |

Each site is private and luxurious, with everything you could need for a carefree stay. The camps come complete with stylish tents, a comfortable sofa, a woodstove-warmed living room, a fully fitted kitchen, hot showers, and sunfilled decks with stunning views. We can even stock the kitchen up with locally produced foods. What more could you want?

The campsite comprises 5 sleeping tents (that can sleep 10 adults altogether) plus 1 living room tent, 1 cook tent and 1 toilet and shower tent. Every camp is unique but they all have the beautiful surroundings of the South Hams countryside in common.

Our tents can sleep up to 10 adults. But we can sleep more people if they bring their own tents. We set up the camp/tents and provide beds, bedding, comfortable sofas, a kitchen, ice boxes, wood stoves, gas rings, gas, a fire pit, showers, a toilet, plates and cutlery, pots and pans, hammocks, pillows, a Monopoly set, firewood, matches and even the paper to start the fire.

Wild Comforts is perfect for people of all camping abilities, especially first timers or people who haven't had a great experience camping previously. I had an amazing time and the campsite gave the whole group a wonderful set of unique choices including a luxurious space to relax in, a fully equipped kitchen area, a beautiful location to explore and the sweetest village to stock up, eat, drink or just chill on the village green and that's just a few of them. I could go on and on! One of my abiding memories is looking up and seeing the night full of stars... Wild Comforts was an exhilarating experience for so many different reasons.. thank you.

A thoroughly magical weekend in a stunning location, the perfect way to spend an English weekend with friends. Having the hassle taken out of camping and not having to think about every spoon and fire-lighter was worth its weight in gold. Thanks again Tim, you've created some fantastic memories.
