Kendal is a town located in a largely rural area, with the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales both within easy reach. The town is home to the Kendal Climbing wall (the north’s premier climbing centre). There is so much for families to enjoy in the area, both indoors and outdoors, as well as for children of all ages. Fishing opportunities abound in the area. For walkers, whether you are looking to get out on the fells, or you're looking for something more gentle, the area offers ample walking for all abilities. The surrounding area also offers superb birdwatching opportunities. You can even have the opportunity to ski in the Helvellyn region of the Lakes. |

We've stayed in several such apartments around the county and this is easily the best! Especially the balcony! Wonderful place and holiday. We would recommend a visit to Blackwell House - a stunning Arts & Crafts house in a beautiful setting.

The smile didn’t leave my face all week long! Stunning apartment with a faultless service from Paul. I’ll tell everyone about the apartment but only after booking next year’s stay. Anyone staying here is in for a treat!! Roll on next year’s holiday!

Great apartment and thanks for bottle of wine. Weather mixed bag but didn’t spoil great days out to see various lakes, go on river cruise, browse around Rheged, walk around Grizedale Forest, look around Windermere, Keswick, Bowness and to other National Trust properties – so much to do! Had lovely meals at Deja Vu, Artisan, New Moon, Sawadee Thai and Mumbai Indian. Also at The Punchbowl at Crosthwaite. Overall just lovely – thank you! We loved it!!
Lyth, Hartlepool, Jul 2011

Had a really wonderful week – despite some rain. Beautiful apartment in stunning location and the service and attention to detail from Paul has been first rate from the start. Can recommend the Eastern Balti – perhaps not as plush as restaurants nearer main streets but food excellent and a great place – very close if it’s raining!
Watt, Cheshire, Jun 2011
