The Terrace, Windermere is a unique row of grade II listed large holiday homes located in the heart of Windermere village, yet conveniently secluded from the hustle of the town in private grounds. Whether it's a short break or a full week, you're celebrating something or simply getting together with friends and family you'll have a great time at The Terrace Windermere! The property sleeps 14 comfortably in 7 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a TV, alarm clock and white cotton bedding. 5 of the rooms have ensuite shower rooms. The other two rooms have a separate bathrooms. Which means every bedroom has private facilities. For the romantics in your party there are 2 four-poster beds. Boston House's Kitchen has been completely refitted (Sept 2009), with solid oak cabinets, Lakeland slate work-surfaces, range cooker, 40 bottle wine cooler and central island unit this really is a party kitchen! |

The rear courtyard is walled all round and looks out to Orrest Head where Alfred Wainwright took his first view of the Lake District - a view that changed his life forever! There is a huge teak table and chairs perfect for dining alfresco and its surrounding walls mean that it’s usually protected from the wind.

The Terrace is at the heart of the village of Windermere yet secluded in private grounds. There's a great walk from the house to the top of Orrest Head (the hill behind the The Terrace) from there you can see virtually the whole of the Lake District. Available as 3 individual houses (each sleeping 14), or to rent collectively The Terrace can accommodate up to 42 people. With private parking for up to 20 cars The Terrace, Windermere is the perfect base for large groups of families or friends to enjoy a fantastic break in the Lake District. Outside the school holidays we take weekend bookings so for that special birthday celebration why not invite over 40 of your friends for a party with a difference. When you divide our prices between a large party we think it works out to be a cheap break.
