  General Info
'Nestled snugly just below the main Mayrose Farm, the Glamppod is a green – in every sense of the word – idyll secluded and stunningly beautiful. We arrived to find an entire sunlit pasture to ourselves and a fully equipped, home away from home. The Glamppod is stylishly bedecked from top-to-toe, no detail left out – sticks for your marshmallows, jugs for your Pimms, exquisite linen, fluffy pillows and a blackboard to note down your campfire stories and recipes for the next inhabitants. Housing four city slickers, the Glamppod took us well and truly out of our comfort zone but never truly away from comfort. We settled blissfully in to a routine of gathering firewood and fresh eggs – rain or shine the Glamppod keeps us toasty all the while we’re reassured by the fact that we’ve left no carbon footprint. Child-friendly and most definitely city-gal friendly this is a retreat hidden in a retreat – a blooming gem, that I suggest you keep well and truly to yourself!'

Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation
Enjoy the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan ot take dreamy walks on the coast paths around Rock, Polzeath and Padstow, all nearby. Daymer bay is an ideal child and toddler friendly holiday beach. Everyone loves the position of our holiday hamlet, close to the spectacular coast paths, Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, great pubs and country walks. Within an hour you can be anywhere in Cornwall. Holidays at Mayrose Farm offer child friendly accommodation, a home from home experience. Local ice cream or seasonal garden vegetables from our small shop and spring water from our own well. Children and toddlers love the child friendly holidays at Mayrose, they have freedom to explore safely, the swimming pool is a focal point although safely gated from wandering toddlers, and they often form lasting friendships with other children. We've seen many inter-family cricket matches, and parents complain children don't want to go out for the day, "Can we just stay at Mayrose".
