  Tredarrup is situated in beautiful countryside with fantastic views across the Allen Valley, near North Cornwall’s coast and beaches. 18th Century Mill Barn (sleeps 6) and Stable Cottage (sleeps 4) offer a peaceful holiday retreat and a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Both properties retain their original character with stone walls, beams, cobbles, slate, granite and wood floors. Both have their own unique charm, they are beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. They offer a peaceful holiday retreat, and all you could need for a great holiday base. Tredarrup is in an ideal position to enjoy exploring Cornwall with a vast choice of things to do and places to visit not too far away.  
 
  Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation  
  The North Cornish Coast is 5 miles away at Trebarwith Strand, a dramatic sandy beach accessible on the outgoing tide with good surf, rock pools and great cliff walks. Nearby beaches are Polzeath, with its broad sweep of Hayle Bay at low tide making the sand perfect for castles and beach games. Daymer Bay, is a beautiful family beach at all stages of the tide with good cliff top walks. Try some water sports, surfing, kite boarding, sailing or fishing. Away from the water, take a cycle along the nearby famous Camel Trail. Enjoy some fantastic moorland walks on the dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor or along the many local footpaths, the picturesque South West Coast Path or the Saints Way. Also nearby are Padstow, Boscastle, Tintagel and the historic fishing village of Port Isaac. Only half an hour from the Eden Project and 40 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

  Interior Details Mill barn – the upstairs open plan living area has great views across the Allen valley. There is a well-equipped country kitchen, and dining area at one end, the staircase in the middle and living space at other end. There is also a separate snug room with its own DVD and video player, for games, relaxing or for children to play in. The bedrooms are downstairs – king size double and two twins. There is a large bathroom with freestanding bath and original slate floor, and a large shower room with walk in shower. Our other property Stable Cottage has an open plan living area – the country kitchen / diner at one end, and living space at the other. There is one large king size bedroom (with en-suite shower room) and one twin room. Also a separate bathroom with freestanding bath and original slate floor. Both properties have comfy sofas, wide screen TV, freeview, DVD, radiators and a wood burning stove.

  Exterior Details Mill Barn has its own outdoor covered terrace. With cobbled floor and old slate roof, it looks out across our field towards the coast. Adjacent is a grass area to kick a football or enjoy the outdoor games we provide – whatever your age - and alongside is our own small private woodland. Stable Cottage has its own outdoor courtyard at the front of the property with table and benches and at the rear in our woodland a private terrace with table and chairs, to enjoy the view and the daytime and evening sun.   Further Details Our nearest town, Camelford, is four miles away, Wadebridge and Bodmin eight miles. St Teath, the local village, has a grocery store and a great pub with good food. Indulge in a taste of the West County with Cornwall’s great selection of restaurants with an excellent choice of food, with the emphasis being local and seasonal. North Cornwall is very much in the foodie spotlight with nearby Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, St Petrocs, Cafe and his Fish & Chips in Padstow, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall at Watergate Bay, Paul Ripley’s nearby great pub the St Kew Inn with Michelin guide food……. and many more. Mill Barn: for young families the stairs can be blocked off with purpose built wooden shutters at both the top and bottom so too can the games room. Stable cottage has soft floor matting for indoor and out. In both properties, fireguards are supplied, and we can provide a travel cot and high chair. There are a children's table and chairs, plastic crockery and cutlery, games and much more.
