Cottage Villa Lydia is situated in a typical Istrian village courtyard, surrounded by farm buildings. It is in the village of Smoljanci, just 3km from Svetvincenat, on the road for Rovinj. The little town of Svetvincenat is famous for its medieval Castle (Grimani Morosini), the best preserved in Istria, as well as for its renaissance central square.

Cottage Villa Lydia, built at the beginning of 20th century, was renovated in 2002, retaining its character whilst providing all modern conveniences. The first floor gallery of 15m2 was built some 80 years ago and is protected from the sun by an 80 year old vine that still produces Istrian malvasia wine grapes - you're welcome to try!
In the backyard is a swimming pool for children diameter of 366 cm and a depth of 72 cm. |

In Smoljanci there is grocery, restaurant and cafe. Also here you can buy the original Istrian healthy food – vegetables, eggs, goat and sheep milk and cheese, wine and brandy. The region is famous for cycling tours, tracking and running paths. In Smoljanci there is bowling-court, tennis-court and football field. Smoljanci village is conected with Pula and Pazin by railway. It is very convenient for excursions without a car. |

The ground floor: the main entrance to the living room with kitchen/dining room, including SAT TV. Bathroom: WC, bidet, shower cubicle and washbasin. There are also stairs to the first floor.
The first floor: double bedroom and twin bedroom, and large living room. Exit to the balcony with stone stairs to the front courtyard.The cottage is completely furnished with old-style (restored) furniture. The traditional materials (wood and stone) as well as methods were used during the cottage restoration. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary electric appliances and cutlery. Bed linen and towels included.

The courtyard provides you with total privacy. It is a safe place for children to play in and around the swimming-pool and a perfect spot for some peaceful siestas. There is ample off-road parking, and a garage.
