This unique luxury 28 meter Eco Yurt sleeps up to 4 guests and comes with its own shower room and outdoor kitchen. It has been tastefully styled with original handpicked hard wood Mongolian furniture. The Yurts are from Mongolia where the local people live in this form of 'house' throughout the year. It is fitted with marble flooring, luxury fabrics and furnishing. A holiday in a yurt has all the good bits of camping, with none of the hassle! |

The nearest restaurants are within the village of Arrieta, just a short walk away. The restaurants are well known for their lunch service and most take last orders by 8pm. The supermarket is also within the village and there is a lovely Spanish cafe for you to get your morning coffee/cake.
Within a short drive, there are fantastic beaches for surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing. The owners of the Eco-Retreat, Tila and Michelle will be happy to organise any such activities. |

Getting There:
| The village of Arrieta is located on the North East coast of the island of Lanzarote. When arriving in Lanzarote by plane, the islands only airport is located in Arrecife. It is a 30 minute drive to the cottage, we can arrange a VIP airport pick up if required. You do not need a car when staying in Arrieta as you have restaurants,shops and the beach on your doorstep. A car is essential to visit the beautiful locations on the island.
Flights to Lanzarote are available with Monarch, Thomsons, Thomas Cook, Easyjet, Jet2com and Ryanair. |

The Eco Yurt is fitted with a large double bed (160cm) with room for a single bed and a cot.The living area includes seating, a stereo and floor lighting. As these yurts are used in Mongolia as full time living accommodation, they are draft free, snug and extremely comfortable. The interior temperature stays at comfortable level and as the Yurt is 28 meters across, it is very spacious.
The yurts shower room has been styled with a walk in shower and free standing Marble sink. It has an outdoor fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar with granite work top and overlooks the yurts decked area where there is a garden teak dining set.

Each Yurt has its own terrace, sun loungers, BBQ, dining area and sea views. For our younger guests, there is a trampoline, childrens play park, and swing. On site, there are chickens (free range eggs) and Molly, our resident donkey. There are mature exotic gardens including Mango, Banana, Guava and Lime fruit trees and bushes (a bonus if you are here in the right season!) The shared solar heated fenced pool area consists of a 10m lap pool and jet pool. There is a Polynesian style day bed with thatched roof beside a large open entertaining suite with a 2nd kitchen, dining table, Moroccan style seating area, and a guest toilet with shower. Wi-Fi connection is also available in this area. These facilities service 7 dwellings at the estate so if you need more space then just let us know. This is a fabulous location to relax and explore the traditional Lanzarote from your holiday in a yurt.

The Yurts are set in a fabulous location overlooking the beach in Arrieta. Amongst mature gardens with panoramic sea and mountain views, the eco-retreat runs entirely on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 30 solar panels, batteries and 2 large wind turbines. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the added beauty of being next to the beach. The property is child friendly and special touches include guests being welcome to eggs from our free range hens, a play area and trampoline for children, table tennis, a sand football pitch, bicycles and even Molly, the resident donkey. There are 5 Yurts of varying sizes within the Eco Village, each with distinctive and unique features. There is also a luxury eco villa and cottage within the retreat. The owners of the Eco-Retreat, Tila and Michelle live on site with their family and are happy to share their extensive knowledge of the island.

Price is based on 2 guests sharing, An additional charge of €5 per person. per night will be applied for additional guests.
30% of total cost to be paid at the time of reservation with the balance to be paid 4 weeks before the start of your holiday in a yurt, both by bank transfer or credit card. Price includes water, electric, linen and towels. As the Yurts are located in an Eco-Retreat, we encourage our guests to be aware of electric consumption. High energy consumption items are not supplied as standard, but these can be made available on request.

Had a great week in the Eco Yurt. Very comfortable and relaxing. This was our first time to Lanzarote and exceeded all our expectations. The volcanoes were fascinating and there were lovely quiet beaches to relax on or to walk along. The various tourist sites designed by Cesar Manrique were great to visit and not at all touristy. Finally we found some great restaurants and cafes to eat in. Michelle and Tilla do a great job making the experience in Lanzarote a great one. Thanks to you both for that.

We stayed in the Eco Yurt over Xmas with our kids, 5 and 1. I can honestly say that it was the best family holiday we have had. The yurt was very spacious, even with a single bed and a cot bed added, and luxurious inside. The entire accomodation was absolutely immaculate. The private outdoor area was huge and provided plenty of space for the kids to play, although my 5 year old preferred to roam freely around the grounds of the Finca which was very safe and had loads to keep him occupied - trampoline, tree house, toys, animals and generally just loads of space to burn off lots of energy. I loved having the kitchen and bathroom facilities outdoors - being able to make breakfast and lunch in the fresh air is wonderful. The communal areas of the Finca are great from the beautiful day bed by the pool to the play room with ping pong table. Albeit a family friendly retreat, for those travelling without children, the pool area was very peaceful most of the time and never overun with children. The Finca is very close to an excellent, child friendly beach with two nice restaurants/bars and a play area. Arrieta itself is as far away from a tourist trap as you can imagine. It is very Canarian with enough Spanish / Tapas restaurants to keep us happy for the two weeks. The villages and beaches in the surrounding area are gorgeous and definately worth visiting. Michelle and Tila are the best hosts you could ask for.

What a wonderful place to spend a holiday. The eco luxury yurt suite was very special. Watching the sunrise from the daybed, playing backgammon and scrabble by candlelight. The boys had such a great time in the playground / pool making friends, riding bikes. Thank you Tila and Michelle for making us feel so welcome, can´t wait to return...

I never expected to love our Yurt so much! To go to bed at night, looking up at the stars, then waking up in the morning to the sea and palm trees was absolute bliss - what a fabulous holiday we all had.

In September, we stayed in eco chiqitita and had a wonderful and memorable time there. I will recommmend it to anybody, anytime to experience the magic of Finca Arrieta.
