Hippo live in the nearby dam and can be viewed safely, at close quarters, from the hippo hide. There is a resident’s pool close by and the main facilities are only a 5 minute walk away and include main and children’s pools, restaurant and snacks, trampolines, tennis, table tennis, snooker/pool table and crazy golf. The house provides a great base from which to explore the Kruger National Park, with the Phabeni Gate only 10 minutes away.
The owners live nearby and can help organise your stay. They can arrange local flights, car hire, excursions, Kruger Park accommodation and private safaris.

The lodge is in Hazyview, 10 minutes from the Phabeni gate into Kruger National Park. There are a variety of activities available including hot air ballooning, white water rafting, zip lining, quad biking. The main focus though is wild amimals. You can drive yourelf into Kruger Park or we can organise an open top game vehicle with an experienced guide. You can also visit the Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, The Cheetah Breeding project, get close to the big 5 at Tangala or walk with lion at Tshukudu. |

Getting There:
| The closest airport is Nelspruit/Kruger (MQP). It is about 30 minutes away. When you get Hazyview, drive under the footbridge which spans the road. Turn immediately right at the traffic lights (signposted to Paul Kruger gate). Kruger Park Lodge is at the bottom of the hill on the left. |

There is one double bedroom and two twin rooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is air conditioning in each room. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, glasses, plates and cutlery. The spacious open-plan living/dining area has sliding doors opening onto the deck. A maid and laundry service is available at a modest cost.

The area around the lodge is peaceful, and the deck quite private, overlooking an area of natural bush which abounds with wildlife (impala, velvet monkeys, mongoose, birds). The large deck extends the full length of the house and has a built-in braii and outdoor dining suite. The nearby residents' pool is quiet and is equipped with comfortable sun loungers.

The house is on a 9 hole, 18 tee course, voted top ten in South Africa. You can also play at Sable River Sun (1km), White River (50km), inside Kruger Park at Skukuza (70km) and at Leopard Creek (80km).
