Nestled in a private cove among baobab trees lining the beach, lies The Cove Retreat. The Cove offers 6 uniquely designed luxury Tree Houses on the beach each with it's own whirlpool and is a private, personal haven, set on the perimeter of the Forest offering a holiday to unwind and become captivated with natures slow pace on this part of the coast. Situated 12km south of the bustling, busy beach of Diani, the Cove offers exclusivity, pampered service, A'la' carte meals at your own pace and the peace and quiet of a magical Retreat away from hectic and hurried lifestyles. Here there is no noise pollution. The only sound you will hear is the wishwash of the tide, the distant call of a fish eagle, and the occasional leaf rustle of a Colobus monkey roaming the baobabs trees on a family outing. Set alongside the fishing community and a local village, it prides itself in responsible tourism. |

The 6 luxury beach Tree Houses – each Tree House has an area of around 100 square metres and offers privacy and pampering unrivalled on the Kenya coast. 4 poster bed in an air conditioned bedroom with mini bar & tea/coffee making facilities allows for that undisturbed afternoon siesta . Inside out shower and bathroom leads onto the whirlpool and Sultanese deck area with panoramic views of the coastline, whilst still being able to soak up the tranquility of the Cove.

We had a great time, Cove is a truly magical and a fantastic location, waking up to the sunrise beaming through our window every morning was fabulous. A big thank you to Doris and all the satff for making our stay here very special. We will miss our sea view showers and the romantic flower messages on our bed every evening. We don't believe we have ever stayed anywhere so beautiful, the treehouses are superb. The food was lovely and the cocktails whilst sitting in the pool were fabulous. The trips on the local canoes into the mangrove were a wonderful experience. A perfect location for a honeymoon after a wedding and safari. We are sad to leave it all behind and head back to reality......thank God for digital cameras and memories!! Overall a fantastic place to spend time as newly weds. Thank to everyone at The Cove for an amazing holiday.

We leave you all with the warmest thoughts after a wonderful and a special holiday. Here we stepped back in time from the long lazy days around the pool, being waited on hand and foot to the splendid evening meals after the jaccuzis in the privacy of our tree house and under the stars. This has been a dream and could not ask for more. You all at The Cove have simply made this Kenyan paradise so much more. It has exceeded our expectations.
